To explore the mineral resources of a country, it is necessary to carry out a thorough research study.

The research activity is not limited only to the identification of ore deposits, minerals and quarry materials but is extended in order to obtain all relevant information which are needed for the preparation of an optimal study, including necessarily the following parameters:

• Calculation of the quantitative and qualitative elements of the reserves that may be identified,
• Planning the exploitation of the reserves and the restoration of the environment with the least possible impact on it,
• Designing the method of processing the ore, mineral or quarry material so that primarily the products meet any required specifications, and further more the optimal sales prices are achieved under the circumstances.

All of the above, provides the possibility of drafting the necessary Feasibility Study which, in combination with the Environmental Impact Assessment Study, will demonstrate whether the identified deposit can be sustainably exploited.
