The main research activities in the Agricultural Chemistry Laboratory (ACL), concern the safety of agricultural products, for example, the determination of pesticide residues which result from over or improper use, and the phytoremediation of soils contaminated with heavy metals. Also the ACL performs chemical analyses for research programs of other Departments of the Institute.
