Agricultural Research Institute

The library is an integral part of the Agricultural Research Institute since its establishment in 1962. It is located at the Institute’s main offices in Nicosia.

The purpose of the library is to provide the scientific staff with bibliographic databases in various fields of agricultural interest. It comprises of books, journals, theses and databases in conventional and electronic media. The Library of the Institute is the Cyprus link to the AGRIS database of the Food and Agriculture Organization. Its purpose is to identify and submit any document relevant to Cyprus agriculture, to the Organization, in order to be included in the AGRIS database. Moreover it cooperates with other local libraries providing the users with scientific material not included in the Library.

The opening hours of the library are Monday to Friday 08:00 to 15:00.
