Quality Management System
All Sections of the Department of Meteorology are certified in accordance with CYS EN ISO 9001:2015 for the following main activities of the Department:
- Provsion of meteorological services to air navigation, to the marine sector and to the public.
- Provision of climatic services.
Maintaining the above certification is an essential component of the Department's objective of providing quality and reliable meteorological and climatic services. Regular inspections by internal and external auditors are conducted in the Department to ensure compliance with the Quality Management System provisions.
