The annual European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR) – a grassroots initiative gathering thousands of local actions on waste prevention organised across Europe – will take place between 17-25 November. This year’s EWWR theme is hazardous waste prevention. Our intention is to use the event as a communication opportunity to promote the EU rules and actions facilitating safe disposal of hazardous waste; as well as to promote the new EU Waste Package during the Week.
