This was an internal mapping program carried out by the Geological Survey Department aiming at validating existing information on umber deposits by collecting geological, geochemical, economical ground truth data to help in the sustainable exploitation of known and possibly unknown deposits. It included interviews with industries that export such materials as natural pigments and the cement industry.
