This website presents the Operational Fisheries Programme (OPF) 2007-2013 which aims to motivate all interested parties to receive funding under the sectors of fisheries, aquaculture, processing and marketing of fishery and aquaculture products as well as measures concerning fishing infrastructure works. Additionally the OPF aims to the sustainable development of fisheries areas and protection of the marine environment.

The fisheries progamme has a budget of 39,5 million Euros and is implemented by the Department of Fisheries and Marine Research in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment and the Planning Bureau.
