A systematic inventory of soil resources is essential for economic and social development. Modern agriculture demands precise and detailed information about soil properties, including their quality, extent, and spatial distribution. Key initiatives, such as optimizing crop production, efficient fertilizer application, improved irrigation practices, and addressing problematic soils, rely heavily on the availability of digital soil maps. Without field sampling and comprehensive soil studies that generate databases capturing regional soil variability, sustainability efforts based solely on experience are unlikely to succeed. This study, presents a dataset of soil fertility properties such as texture, pH, EC, organic carbon (C) content, CaCO3 content, total N, Olsen’s P and available K from 951 sampling locations. This dataset provides a valuable resource for monitoring soil health and supporting sustainable soil management in Cyprus.
