The Monitoring Comittee has the responsibility to ensure the quality of implementaion of the operational programme. The comittee constists of various bodies (the govermental sector in general, local authorities, representatives of non govermental organisations and economical and social fellows). Additionally, officers of the European Comitee can attend the monitoring comitee´s meetings as observers.
