The purpose of this study was to evaluate the results of the ground seismic response in the Paphos area as well as to identify areas susceptible to liquefaction. These results can be used to propose recommendations to the regulations in force in Cyprus, as per the General Building Regulation and the Antiseismic Rules. The results of this study were presented at a symposium which was carried out in Paphos in March of 2006.
