The purpose of this study was to evaluate the results of the ground seismic response analyzes in the Limassol area as well as to identify areas susceptible to liquefaction. These results can be used to propose recommendations to the regulations in Cyprus, as per the General Building Regulation and the Antiseismic Rules. The results of this study were presented at a symposium which was carried out in Limassol in December of 2000.
