The project concerns the construction of an earthen 500.000 m3 tank to store the redundant recycled water from the waste water treatment plant in Anthoupolis arising during the winter period, to be used in agriculture in the summer period and the construction of accompanying water conveyance works, such as pumping stations as well as a primary and secondary pipe network of an approximate width of 20 Km.
The project assessment cost amounts to 6,5 million. Part of the project (3.5 million) or 53% is financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development through the Rural Development 2014-2020 Programme, Status 4.3.2 and 47% by the Republic of Cyprus. |
