Licensing for the Installation of Small Private Desalination Units

*Short description:*	The Water Development Department (WDD) of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and the Environment announces that it accepts applications for the licensing of small private desalination plants, following a decision of the Council of Ministers. The objective of the measure is to facilitate the installation of small private desalination plants for the production of non drinking water to serve agricultural exploitations, hotels, golf courts, water parks or other similar installations for the production of up to 1500 cubic metres per day. To facilitate the submission of the relevant application by interested parties, the Licensing Guide and the Diagram on the Licensing Procedure are attached below.
